  1. I agree! I recently took a 9 day rest (unintentionally) after I couldn’t make it out of my house due to lack of motivation. I still missed going out on my runs. The day I got my motivation back and headed out for my run, it wasn’t hard to convince myself to go an extra mile. I was so depressed for not running, but it helped me get back on track to the point where I’m not making any excuses for my long runs anymore! :)

    • Sorry to hear about the unintentional rest period Mariajose. Sometimes lacking motivation is a sign of overuse. Thus, taking time off (or doing other activities) might just have been what your body/mind needed. Anyway, I am glad to hear you’re back in action. :-D

      • Hadn’t thought of that as a reason. Maybe I was overdoing it a little, specially with school and work now. But I’m glad I’m back too :)
