Software Test Engineer

Randy SandbergI’ve been professionally testing computer related products since 1991 when I worked for a company called DCP Computers. There, besides sales and customer support, I helped install, configure, and test our upcoming multimedia systems—comprised of 1x CD-ROM drives and Sound Blaster sound cards—for our custom made Intel and AMD based 386 and 486 PCs. Which were sold all over the nation via our two Southern California stores, one in Orange County and the other in City of Industry, as well as ads in magazines such as Computer Shopper.

From that point onward, whether it was for Internet Service Provider Sonic.net, Apple, Sun Microsystems—now Oracle—or my current employer beAutomated, I have made a lengthly and fun career out making customers’ experiences with the products I test less buggy and thus more enjoyable.

For more information about what I did on any particular job please see my profile at LinkedIn.
